I am a close friend of Mia, so I know first hand how large of a role spirituality and holistic approaches to healing, plays in her life. I’ve watched her deepen into this journey and utilize her heighten sensitivity that has had remarkable effects on those around us. I on the other hand, don’t follow the practice or know much about it other than what she shares with me about her own journey. I decided it was time for me to try it out and see what benefit it holds. Slightly skeptical, to my surprise I was blown away with the physical, mental and emotional sensations being on the reiki table brought forth in me. There’s no other word to describe the physical experience other than “energy” moving throughout my body. I actually felt the streams of energy coming from her . Sometimes I thought she was lightly touching parts of my body when she was actually just hovering her hands over me, that’s how strong the energy was. I went into a deep state of relaxation and she held off any messages and notes closer towards the end. She picked up on some imbalances and shared her wisdom to what can cause or create these energetic blocks. It was almost scary how accurate she was and how much I resonated with what she had to say. Leaving the session I felt relaxed, a sense of peace, empowered and excited to continue to explore my inner world. I may be slightly biased because Mia is such a dear friend of mine but she has an extraordinary sensitivity and mind, and when those two work together she truly makes an impact.
